Aline & Philipp // preview

You might have read our post about Amrum. In this case you already know, that we’re kind of sentimental about this place.
Aline and Philipp got married there and we took care of the photos. They chose Amrum, because Aline spent quite a lot of family vacations on this remote island.

It took us back to the family vacations we did as children and reminded us how the places we’ve visited shaped our view of the world.

Reviewing the photos of Alines and Philipps wedding, we can’t help but realize how perfect this place fits them.
People told us that once you’ve visited Amrum you will return.

Romy & Raphael ~ Preview

A friend of us once introduced the term holodeck – effect for a situation where you enter a room, or you’re looking from one room into another space and what you see is so different that it seems kind of surreal.

Shooting the wedding of Romy and Raphael somehow reminded us of that.

We’ll show you more of this fantastic wedding day as soon as we can!

Amrum

Travel Photos of Amrum on Polaroid

It’s been a week since we first entered the island called Amrum and four days since we’re back in Berlin. We drove up North  to photograph the wedding of Aline and Philipp in a village called Nebel which means fog.

I guess it got that name for a reason, but the days we spent on Amrum were blessed with the warmest and brightest sun you can imagine and a nice light breeze of wind. When I think of Amrum the first things that come to my mind are the scents of wild roses, pines and hot sand and the sounds of uncommon seabirds I have never heard before.

I love that ultimate feeling of summer.
