Venice ~ Polaroids

When I travel to a place like this, I prefer shooting with film. Somehow digital doesn’t work for me there. It’s not only the great look of film, or in this case the special tone of Polaroids. What I like about film is that I have to restrain myself. The limited amount of shots with film needs photographic decisions to be more accurate in a way. The concentration is somehow visible later on. To me, this makes the photo very powerful.

This time I took a Polaroid camera and two films with me. Two films – that’s 16 instant photos. Here are 7 of them.
